Key tips

It is the season of the year when the screw rotor is rusted. In order to avoid the loss of production caused by the rust of your screw machine due to water accumulation, the following precautions are taken when using it.

First of all, we need to understand why water accumulates in the screw main unit:

1、 Friends who have used air conditioning know that the air conditioner has a drain pipe. Normally, the air conditioner can discharge 20-25 liters of water in one night. This water is the moisture in the atmosphere condensed by the air conditioning compressor.

2、When the screw compressor is running, the compressed air also contains condensed water in the atmosphere. When the machine is running continuously and the oil temperature gradually rises to 80℃, the condensed water in the oil begins to evaporate and the water is discharged into the air storage tank along with the compressed air.

3、Due to the selection or the extremely small gas consumption of the user, the operating loading rate of the screw machine is seriously low, which causes the screw oil temperature to fail to reach above 80°C for a long time. The oil begins to deteriorate and emulsify, causing the rotor inside the main engine to rust and get stuck.

Solution

01 Appropriately extend the air compressor unloading time (no-load delay) and artificially raise the oil temperature to above 85℃ (90℃ is most suitable) for operation.

02 Before and after the air compressor is installed, you should fully understand the gas usage of the user. It is very important to make a return visit to a new customer one week after the installation to check the customer's actual operating rate and observe the oil status!

03 When the gas consumption is low, the condensed water in the oil and gas barrel should be drained regularly after the screw machine is shut down for 6 hours until the oil is seen flowing out. (The draining frequency depends on the use environment of the screw machine).

04 For users with particularly small gas consumption, adjust the cooling fan opening temperature appropriately.

05 Drain the water in the oil and gas tube once a week. The method of draining water is as follows: before starting the machine in the morning, open the oil drain valve of the oil and gas barrel until a small amount of lubricating oil flows out, and then close the valve.

06 The factory will not provide warranty if there is water accumulation, oil emulsification, rotor rust and other conditions that cause machine damage! Please check regularly.

07 Use special coolant for screw machines, which is resistant to high temperature, oxidation and coking.
